PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  • The facility serves approximately 200 children ages 6 months to 5 years old.

  • In addition to providing affordable childcare solutions to the community, the center will offer students from Virginia Peninsula Community College’s Center for Excellence in Early Childhood Learning and Development a state-of-the-art environment for training.

  • The building’s mechanical system consists of highly efficient water source heat pumps served by geothermal walls.

  • Designed to achieve a LEED for v4.0 ‘Certified’ rating.
